On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 May the charity is staging its tallest sponsored abseil down Guy's Tower at Guy's Hospital.

There are fantastic views from the top of the tower. A team of professional abseilers will guide participants down and full training will be given on the day.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for you to impress your friends and family with your bravery while raising vital funds for people with muscle disease," says Rupa-Dey Amin from the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.

"There is currently no cure, so for every £100 you raise, we'll be able to fund over three hours in the research lab looking for an effective treatment or cure, or pay for a session with a specialist care adviser who will provide practical and emotional support following diagnosis. Events like this one are essential for us to raise the money that makes a difference to the lives of people living with muscle disease. So go on – have a go!"

Places are going fast, so if you want to take part call Rupa-Dey on 020 7819 1860 or email [email protected]
