PC Rakesh Phian says a 33-year-old male confronted the man at around 5pm on Friday 16 March after the male's girlfriend complained that she was being filmed on an escalator at London Bridge Station.

PC Phian said: "The woman was going up the escalator with her partner when she felt something touch her from the back. When she turned she saw a male with a video camera filming up her skirt. Her boyfriend challenged the male, but the male ran off."

The male was white, about 5ft 4inches tall, with short cropped hair. He was wearing a white shirt, black trousers, a dark, light-weight jacket and was carrying a dark coloured rucksack.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to.

Anyone with information about the male is asked to call the British Transport Police on 020 7391 5275 quoting background log B6 of 9/5/07.
