Leah, who this month completed her fine arts course at Chelsea College of Art & Design, arrived exactly on time at 5pm with her father Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood. They received a cheer from Borough Market shoppers but father and daughter paused only briefly for the thirty press photographers waiting in the churchyard.

The groom Jack MacDonald is the son of Glynn MacDonald, Southwark resident and Master of Movement at Shakespeare's Globe.

The 50-minute service opened with the choir singing Parry's 'I was glad'. The hymns chosen by the couple were 'Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart' and 'All ceatures of our God and King'. The bride's brothers, model Tyrone Wood and guitarist Jesse Wood, read from 1 Corinthians and a Shakespeare sonnet. Patrick Kennedy read the lesson from the Song of Solomon.

American Grammy Award-winner Lisa Fischer, who has appeared on stage with Mick Jagger, sang How great thou art during the signing of the register.

The couple were married by Canon Bruce Saunders who earlier this year had prepared Leah for confirmation at the cathedral.

Among the guests were Cilla Black who arrived with Paul O'Grady, Jerry Hall, Rolling Stones Keith Richards, Mick Jagger and Bill Wyman, artist Tracey Emin, underwear model Alice Dellal and snooker player Jimmy White. Kate Moss, arriving after the bride, was accompanied by her daughter Lila.
