The 1920s to 1970s vintage clothing, collectables and memorabilia shop is a Lower Marsh success story. It opened on 15 November 1993 and that night saw the very first episode of the television series Goodnight Sweetheart starring Nicholas Lyndhurst and highlighting the contrast between the Forties and the present day.

Radio Days was founded by Chrissie Lazell who had thought up the name after seeing the 1987 Woody Allen film Radio Days.

The shop stocks hundreds of vintage magazines, ceramics, ornaments, vintage radios, cocktail accessories and old packaging. At the back of shop is the ladies and gents vintage clothing department. Props are hired out to film companies.

Being known for its fine selection of telephones, Radio Days is stocking a special gold version to mark the birthday.

The shop is open on both Saturday 15 November (10am to late) and Sunday (12 noon to late) offering 10 per cent discount on card purchases as well as the 20 per cent on cash purchases.

After seven and a half years Chrissie was joined in the business by her partner Lee Williams. The couple live nearby and are holding the two day celebration to say thank you for 15 years of support from fellow local residents.
