Choreographed opening and closing of curtains at Elephant & Castle
A choreographed performance by artist Laura Wilson of the opening and closing of curtains in the London College of Communication tower at Elephant & Castle was held on Tuesday night.
The 15-minute performance marked the start of Wilson's exhibition Horse of a Different Colour at Siobhan Davies Studios in St George's Road.
The exhibition includes Quite a Stranger Aren't You, a duet of identical rotating heaters silently moving from one side to the other in unison, almost appearing to be dancing with each other.
On 5 February Wilson will strike and extinguish the entire content of a box of matches at the Flaming Fuse event.
