Music, balloons and prizes were all part of the celebratory event hosted by Sunstar Group at its Southwark Bridge Road Costcutter store.

It is the second year that Sunstar has teamed up with Charles Dickens Primary School to celebrate Children's Art Day.

The store hosted an exhibition of art works by pupils from the school. Tara Hoyos-Martinez presented prizes to winners of the art competition.

As part of the collaboration between the school and the shop Costcutter also offered a range of special offers on fairtrade products. These offers were promoted with a stunning poster designed by 9-year-old Fatmanour.
