On Thursday 28 October at about 8.40pm a man appeared to collapse in Railway Approach at London Bridge. Police say that he was then run over by a taxi.

He was taken to a South London hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries.

"This is a nasty accident, and we are appealing for witnesses to come forward, in particular the occupants of a silver Mercedes Vito taxi that was dropping off at the station at the time off the accident," says DC Billy Barnett from Southwark CID.

If you have any information about this incident contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or Southwark Police on 020 7232 6145.
