Rolls-Royce Motor Cars celebrated the centenary of the 'Spirit of Ecstasy' or 'Flying Lady' – which adorns the front of each and every Rolls-Royce vehicle - with a procession of cars through London on Sunday morning.

The 100-strong cavalcade paid a brief visit to SE1, crossing Westminster Bridge and heading down Lambeth Palace Road before returning to the north bank via Lambeth Bridge.

"The Spirit of Ecstasy is perhaps the most famous automotive icon, gracefully adorning the prow of models past and present," says Torsten Müller-Ötvös, chief executive of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Minutes before the first Rolls-Royce arrived at Westminster Bridge, dozens of motorcyclists crossed the bridge as part of the 'No to the Bike Parking Tax' demonstration.
