The garden was created in 2007 as part of the Global Cities exhibition at Tate Modern and is now a well-established food-growing space coordinated by Bankside Open Spaces Trust.

These photographs of Sunday's event have been taken by young people taking part in the Creative Landscapes practical skills-based volunteering programme.

The programme included a wildfood walk and drawing workshop with Ceri Buck of Invisible Food as well as activities with the Goodlife Centre and South London Master Gardeners

There were also chickens from Charles Dickens Primary School and a barbecue by Jeff's Cafe.
