Woman sexually assaulted at Waterloo Station: police appeal
BTP officers would like to speak to this man

Officers have released CCTV images of a man they want to identify and speak to in connection with the incident, which took place at around 8.25am on Friday 9 March.

A man followed the victim, a 29-year-old woman from Ashtead, across the concourse at Waterloo Station before touching her indecently.

He was last seen running away towards the London Eye.

"This incident quite understandably left the victim very distressed and upset," says PC Alex O'Leary.

"We've made local enquiries to try and identify this man, including circulating his images on police intelligence systems and to local safer neighbourhood teams, but to no avail so far.

"This man's behaviour was abhorrent and completely unacceptable and we'll do everything in our power to try and identify him.

"The CCTV images we've been able to retrieve are clear and I'm sure someone will recognise this man. If you do, please get in touch."

Anyone with information should contact BTP on 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference B6/LSA of 11/6/12.

Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
