Bankside & Waterloo Growing Grants: kick-start a community garden

London SE1 website team

Need £200 to make your local environment better? Don't want to fill a long application form for a few hundred pounds? Bankside Open Spaces Trust can help.

BOST is offering small grants of £200 and £400 to enable local people to make SE1 a greener place to be.

Grants are to kick-start or help on-going community greening projects such as window box schemes, bird boxes, planting in parks, gardening tools, planters in your entranceway or other ways to bring people together in gardening.

The grant will provide funding to individuals, community groups, schools or charities to support projects which involve gardening, wildlife or improving a green space in the SE1 area.

The scheme is run by Bankside Open Spaces Trust with funding from the City Bridge Trust.

For an application form email [email protected] – the closing date is Tuesday 20 August.

Successful applications will be announced at the Octavia Hill Flower and Vegetable Show on 28 September.
