Tower Bridge Magistrates' Court could become a hotel

The grade II listed magistrates' court closed at the end of June this year and the complex has now been put up for sale by the Ministry of Justice and the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime.

The adjacent police station has been home to the flying squad for many years.

The building is described by agents Jones Lang LaSalle as "a rare opportunity to create a high-quality residential or hotel conversion of the existing building, with alterations and extensions possible to the rear, subject to obtaining the necessary permissions".
