The paddle-steamer Waverley passing through Tower Bridge adorns the September page of Rob Powell's 'On The Thames' calendar for 2014

Southwark-based photographer Steve Hollingshead has – for the eleventh year – produced a calendar featuring black and white images of Londoners at unusual events across the city.

The 2014 edition's cover picture shows skaters at the South Bank undercroft, whilst the monthly images include September's Greenpeace giant polar bear puppet outside Lambeth Palace en route to the Shell Centre and November's London-Brighton Veteran Car Run passing the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel.

The calendar is available direct from the photographer for £10 (plus P&P), with an exclusive 'buy 5 get 1 free' offer when you mention the SE1 website.

Copies of Steve's book Event are also available for £15 (plus P&P). Exclusive SE1 readers' price for book and calendar together: £20 from the photographer (plus P&P).

For more information and to place an order contact Kath Serkis on 020 7633 0060, 07530 949014 or email [email protected].

The calendar and book are also available at Woolfson & Tay bookshop in Bear Lane.

This year Rob Powell, who documents activity on the river on his ThamesPics blog, has produced a 'On The Thames' Photo Calendar. The calendar – which covers the tidal Thames – includes three images featuring Tower Bridge. It is available from LondonPhotoCalendars.co.uk or via Amazon.co.uk.
