Darren Johnson, a Green Party member of the Lobdon Assembly, has tabled this question to Mayor of London Boris Johnson: "Will you work with Southwark Council to close off Bermondsey Street to motorised through traffic, including it in the Central London Cycle Grid and introducing traffic calming measures to provide an alternative route for cyclists?"

The Mayor's response will be published later this month.
