Southwark Police are appealing for information following a burglary at the Holiday Inn Express in Southwark Street.

Two computers were stolen from the hotel reception at around 2am on Wednesday morning.

A six foot tall male smashed open the front door and, having stolen the computers, escaped on the back of a white motor scooter.

The suspect male, of stocky build, was wearing a full face black crash helmet, black hoody, a yellow hi-viz jacket and blue track suit bottoms with two white stripes down the side of legs.

The Holiday Inn Express front entrance remains closed with guests being asked to use a back door.

Anyone who either witnessed or has information concerning this incident should contact Southwark Police CID by dialling 101 quoting reference 3010492/15.
