Waterloo Bridge collision: police seek witnesses

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a road traffic collision on Waterloo Bridge on Wednesday night.

Lambeth Police were called to Waterloo Bridge just after 10.15pm on Wednesday.

Officers found a man and woman aged in their sixties had been injured in a collision with a motorcycle.

Both were taken by London Ambulance Service to a central London hospital for treatment. The man has minor injuries. The woman has sustained serious leg injuries.

The motorcyclist stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries. No arrests have been made.

The Met's serious collision investigation unit is carrying out inquiries into the circumstances of the collision.
