VSO, the international development charity, is organising a sponsored walk to raise money for maternal healthcare across the world.
The walk starts in the Memorial Gardens at Guy's Hospital, crosses the Millennium Bridge into the City and up to Coram's Fields, then down Gower Street finishing on the South Bank in the gardens next to St Thomas' Hospital.
The walk is to raise awareness and funds for VSO's work improving maternal healthcare.
Walkers are invited to come in colourfully decorated footwear, or wear their favourite walking shoes if they prefer.
