The BFI has a rich collection of films portraying the African and Caribbean presence in the UK, from early cinema to recent film and TV.

These are freely available for six days a week at the Mediatheque, a public viewing facility.

Tony Warner of Black History Walks in collaboration with David Somerset of the BFI Southbank will present a selection of excerpts from key titles as well as introducing the groundbreaking and ongoing African Odysseys programme at BFI Southbank.
