Bonsai Day

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

The second Bonsai Day at the Garden Museum. The day will be organised by The Bonsai Kai, Europe's oldest bonsai club.

The aim of the day is to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for bonsai. There will be an exhibition of members' trees and demonstrations of various bonsai techniques.

Additionally, there will be experts on hand to provide a re-potting service. If you have a bonsai and are unsure of what to do with it then please bring it along and they will try to assist with advice and/or re-potting.

Visitors will have the chance to create a bonsai and take it home for a nominal charge. If you've ever been interested but unsure of where to get information or how to start then this is a great chance for you to learn. There will no doubt be some very interesting trees on display as well as a vast store of experience on hand.
