Stories and relics of the old London Bridges

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

This walk looks at London Bridges of the past, including the famous inhabited 1209 bridge with its houses, chapels, grand buildings and fortifications.

At the north end of the mediaeval bridge the first stop will be St Magnus the Martyr, where you'll hear about the church's historic links to the Thames and river crossings, and view a large-scale model of Old London Bridge.

Part of the Coin Street Waterloo Sights and Sounds project.
