Waterloo Walk with Old Maps

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Ken Titmuss leads a walk with old maps exploring the streets behind the South Bank.

Looking up you will see an unusual way the anti-slavery campaign was commemorated and just round the corner a fragment of the Necropolis Railway, as well as their office in Westminster Bridge Road.

Along the way the walk will celebrate the work of Emma Cons, encounter the gold refiner of Cross Street and follow a lost river. And you will discover the secret life of everyone's favourite London bridge.
