Southwark's history vividly brought to life on these guided walks with writer and performer John Constable, author of The Southwark Mysteries and Secret Bankside – Walks In The Outlaw Borough.

John Constable performs poems and songs from The Southwark Mysteries, on a tour of the places that inspired this epic work. From the Marshalsea Prison and Chaucer's Tabard Inn, through the medieval Liberty of the Clink with its taverns, bear-pits and 'stews', to end at Crossbones, the outcasts' graveyard.
