The Mayor of Southwark hosts a unique half-day workshop on personal and community transformation with best-selling author Andy Cope.

'The Art of Being Brilliant' provides an antidote to the fast-paced world that typifies modern life.

Using cutting edge research, Andy Cope will share some of the 'secrets' of positive psychology, focussing on learning new habits of thinking and behaviour that will sustain personal and community 'brilliance'. Ultimately, the aim of this highly entertaining and engaging workshop is to rejuvenate and inspire, with the impact felt at home, at work, and in the wider community.

Andy Cope is a qualified teacher, author and learning junkie. He is currently studying happiness, flourishing, and positivity as part of a PhD thesis. His research feeds into this workshop which has been delivered to rave reviews all over the world.

Andy is also a best-selling author. He has written 'The Art of Being Brilliant' and 'Being Brilliant', self-help books for adults, as well as 'A Brilliant Life' and 'The Game of Life', the UK's first positive psychology books for teenagers.

The Mayor is offering 100 free places for Southwark residents in both the morning (10am to 1pm) and afternoon (2pm to 5pm) sessions.

To reserve your free place on either workshop contact Daisy Coleman at Southwark Council on 020 7525 4985 or [email protected].
