A free, family-friendly community music festival, which aims to encourage people of all ages to support local talent and participate in making music. It is part of Our Big Gig, a music celebration taking place across the UK.

There will be bands, singers and dancers bringing music of varied genres including classical, folk, latin, pop, punk and rap. People of all ages will be getting involved, from children aged 0-5 who can participate in Boppin' Bunnies music sessions to older people aged 50+ who will be performing in the the Blackfriars Nightingales choir.

There will be activities for children and performances by children from Borough Music School and Latin Dance Academy 'Gotitas De Sabor'.

Bands playing include JamJar, The Stabilisers, Prints of Whales, Iyatra Quartet, Strike, Russian Roots and UrBenFlex.

You can bring a picnic or enjoy a bite to eat with food stalls from local businesses The Goldsmith and Nelson's Sandwich Bar. You can also grab a bargain from the jumble sale stall, raising money for local community groups.
