This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Join Waterloo poet Anna Robinson for the launch of her new poetry collection 'Into the Woods', which takes readers to imaginary wild woodland in the centre of London.

Hear from the woodsman, the wild girl and the widow Mary as they try to emerge from the present time into the Lambeth woods of old.

Author of My Mum went down the Lower Marsh , Anna is a long-standing Waterloo resident and a fan of Lower Marsh.

The launch will take place in Granby Place, a little-used public space accessible down an alley next to the Camel & Artichoke pub at 121 Lower Marsh.

The event will pilot the space as a site for future events.

All members of the community – residents, workers and visitors alike - are welcome to come to this launch event, which will include free readings from Into the Woods, a book stall and delicious tea and cakes from award-winning cake stall Raffo & Ridgeway.
