Southwark i-Witness will begin at 11am with a civic reception hosted by the Mayor of Southwark Cllr Sunil Chopra with special guest speaker Lord (Indargit) Singh, CBE.

At 12pm a coach will depart to begin the Southwark i-Witness Trail, where guests will be taken to Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist centres including the Kagyu Samye Dzong Buddhist centre in Bermondsey, St Peter's Church Walworth, and the Peckham Islamic Centre.

Visitors will be given a guided tour of the venues and a presentation of their beliefs with a special emphasis on how each contributes to the life of the wider community.

The Southwark i-Witness Trail will end at 3pm when guests will return to Tooley Street for a closing interfaith ceremony.

Buddhist nun Lama Zangmo and the Venerable Jane Steen, Archdeacon of Southwark, will speak then all participants will make a public commitment before the Mayor to interfaith dialogue and collaboration.
