Counter Terrorism Security Training

The South Bank Business Improvement District is organising two free training sessions delivered by the Metropolitan Police.

The first of these will be Project Griffin, this project is aimed at all staff of any organisation in South Bank who have a security or public facing role. The mission is to engage, encourage and enable members of the community to work in partnership with the Police to deter and detect counter terrorist activity and crime.

The second training package will be Project Argus, this project is primarily aimed at managers from various sectors of the business community in South Bank. It will involve a multimedia simulation and will enable delegates to consider a wide range of issues at various stages of a terrorist attack.

To reserve a place on either of these courses please email [email protected], putting either 'Project Argus' or 'Project Griffin' in the email title. Please also include the following information:

Depending on the interest and attendance on these courses the intention is for the sessions to become a regular occurrence.
