Waterloo Walk with Old Maps

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Join Ken Titmuss for a walk with old maps exploring the neighbourhood that evolved on the south bank once Waterloo Bridge was built.

See the London Nautical School and the building where Morley College began.

With a 1560 map, you will trace a now lost river to where it joins the Thames.

Along the way you will encounter Emma Cons, Matthew Webb and the Gold Refiner of Cross Street.
