Make, Do and Mend Yourself

Desk top garden - create your own terrarium

WeAreWaterloo, Lower Marsh Market and Meanwhile Club join forces to offer 'Make, Do and Mend Yourself' workshops each month.

Each workshop will have an urban gardening theme where participants can drop in for half an hour of making, and then take the results back to their desks.

Participants will benefit by working with natural materials in an open-air environment, learning a new 'feel good' skill for free, as well as meeting new people.

The free sessions are open to all and we are welcoming local office workers, residents and shoppers – anyone who longs to get away from their desk or take a break from the daily grind to relax and be creative!

'Make, Do and Mend Yourself' is also suitable for whole departments and teams of co-workers who fancy a bit of team building and outdoor therapy during their lunch hour.

The first workshop is entitled 'Desk top garden - create your own terrarium with succulents and air plants to live happily on your desk'.
