Aall artwork will be available either to purchase or order on the night.

Having first studied the region whilst at the University of Durham, Madeleine spent time living and working as a Human Rights Monitor and Advocate in East Jerusalem and fell in love with Palestine and its people.

She then worked for an international development charity and made regular trips to the West Bank and Gaza, which was a true pleasure and privilege. This exhibition is a culmination of these experiences, and these years of living, working and visiting Palestine.

The exhibition is designed to show an alternative view of a place that, despite frequent media coverage, is not always well understood.

Madeleine has attempted to capture the remarkable resilience and love of life that the Palestinian people have.
