Every wondered how an architect begins the design process to realise a large scale project?

Julia Barfield MBE RIBA FRSA will take you through this process and will talk about the history and design development of the London Eye as well as other local schemes by Marks Barfield Architects.

Julia is a founding director of Marks Barfield Architects (MBA) together with husband and partner David Marks - the originators and creative entrepreneurs behind the design and realisation of the London Eye as well as the British Airways i360.

This talk forms part of the Morley College Penny Lecture series. Penny Lectures began in 1882 at the Old Vic Theatre in Waterloo.
