Vehicle Idling Action Event

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Vehicle Idling Action is a London-wide education and behaviour change campaign to help reduce localised air pollution caused by motorists who leave their engines running when stationary.

In Emma Cons Gardens there will be a giant snakes & ladders game highlighting the issues of air pollution and idling, and lots of mini games, car stickers and leaflets to give away.

Trained volunteers will talk to pedestrians and motorists about the problems of idling, and requesting politely that any idling motorists they come across switch off their engines.

Whether you’re a concerned local citizen or work at a local business, there are opportunities to get involved.
