Waterloo Community Conference at Waterloo Action Centre

WaCoCo is the organisation that has been established following the wind-up of Waterloo Community Regeneration Trust (WCRT) at the end of the SRB6 programme.

The Annual Community Conference is one of the many activities established by WCRT that WaCoCo wants to continue.

The 2006 Conference mandated the Steering Group to develop a Community Coalition which would develop effective networks and partnerships within the Waterloo V&CS identify mechanisms for resource sharing to maximise the impact and community benefit from existing resources bring members together to seek additional resources - develop funding consortiums and partnerships

WaCoCo has just been established by the following founder members and partnerships:- Association of Waterloo Groups; Blackfriars Settlement; SE1 United; The Waterloo Green Trust; Waterloo Action Centre; Waterloo Community Development Group; Waterloo Arts & Events Network; Waterloo Open Spaces Partnership; Waterloo Parents & Providers Forum and Waterloo Youth Strategy Group.

Membership of WaCoCo will be open to local voluntary & community organisations that support the Vision & Mission.

The conference will provide the opportunity to find out more about WaCoCo; future plans for WAC, an update on Section 106 discussions and Community Facilities audit.
