Spring Plant and Garden Fair

One of 2008's earliest plant fairs will offer visitors lots of inspiration and a head start in the garden this spring.

Specialist nurseries will come together inside the Museum to bring you a variety of species from clematis to shrubs to tender and hardy perennials.

Selected plants people will give masterclasses throughout the day (free on a first come, first served basis).

Drop-in gardening workshops for children

Choose from three workshops:
• Sunny Sunflowers : sow sunflowers for a sunny windowsill or choose an edible flower to grow.
• Full of Magic Beans: sow climbing beans and see if you can grow one as high as Jack in the story of Jack and
the Beanstalk.
• Healthy Herbs: learn how to grow herbs for adding flavour to pizzas and salads.
