Three workshops bringing alive the place we live, work and play.

• Wed 28 May: introduction
theatre games and skills, creative ways
of bringing stories vividly to life

Wed 4 June: guided walk
a tour of Bankside, exploring the amazing stories behind the unusual historical sites in the oldest part of London

• Wed 11 June: performance
a short piece of theatre, devised during this final workshop, drawing on discoveries made on the walk

Workshops led by John Constable, local author of many plays including The Southwark Mysteries, and Sarah Davey who directed the production of this epic community play in Shakespeare's Globe and Southwark Cathedral.

To get the most out of this course, everyone is encouraged to commit to all three workshops - priority will be given to bookings for the full course of three. Open to all ages - under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult
