SE1 United Sports Day

The Youth Forum SE1 United is holding its annual Sports Day at Archbishop's Park which will be attended by over 800 young people from youth clubs, schools, and youth forums from Lambeth and Southwark.

There will be a football tournament, African mask making, tennis taster sessions, facepainting, a climbing wall, two large inflatables, basketball workshops, a West Indian Bar-B-Q, T-Shirt making, community stalls including Brook Sexual Health Clinic, Coin Street Community Builders .

There will also be a main stage which will feature a welcome by the Mayor of Lambeth, plays by NICOLA, dance performances, Southside FM promotions and presentations

This SE1 United event is designed to inform young people about the summer programmes and provision that is available to them during the summer, to give them the chance to participate in healthy sporting activities, to learn about new sporting opportunities in their area and to have fun!

This event has been organised by young SE1 United entrepreneurs Alice (13), Rebekah (16) and Daisy (15). It is an event supported by Sport Action Zone, Lambeth, Southwark, The Big Lottery Fund and many partner organisations.
