Down the Rabbit Hole

Unleash your inner Alice and explore a wonderland of music, theatre and visual arts within the labyrinthine maze of interconnecting spaces at Bargehouse New events company Paint the Town Red launches this autumn with a unique, multi-artform submersion - Down the Rabbit Hole.

Art, sound, performance, live music and riddles come together to create a dreamlike and playful journey for visitors, where big imaginations are stimulated by attention to the smallest details.

The Bargehouse at Oxo Tower Wharf - an atmospheric, untouched four-storey building, will be transformed into a fantasy world of tilted perspectives, absurd encounters, alternative puppetry and darkened tunnels.

Down the Rabbit Hole is a collaboration by some of the UK's most highly acclaimed and upcoming artists who have worked together to create an engaging, experimental and entertaining event.

They will produce a surreal, playful environment, a two hour immersion into interactive performance art. Visitors will explore an array of set designs, projections, and installations: a story telling caterpillar will enthral and mysterious

characters will create havoc in reverse at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. The public will interact with dancers and performers whilst taking in live music from surprise bands.
