Travel back in time and discover dynamic social reformers like the pioneering Victorian social worker Octavia Hill in her struggles to improve women and children's living conditions in Southwark.

Walk in the footsteps of Henry Maudsley's vision in his quest to improve the lives and treatment of people experiencing mental illness.

Join this exploration of the rich tapestry of famous & infamous local inhabitants, discover local architecture and uncover the history of mental health in Southwark.

Along the route walkers will be treated to a 'Butterfly Metamorphosis'- spy a Camberwell butterfly along the Largactyl Shuffle walk, keep your eyes open in case one flies past you. Then take one home to raise awareness.
