London gets its own Green Car Day as Revolve, the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership and What Car? join forces for a packed day of events centred around City Hall.

The day will highlight the best green vehicles on sale and the trends that will shape future transport

Expect to see a wide variety of present and future bikes, cars and vans driven by media, celebrities and environmentalists.

The day kicks off with the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership annual conference featuring leading speakers from industry, government and environment groups.

A convoy of low carbon vehicles will simultaneously prepare to set off from Brighton on their way to London.

At 2.45pm the participants in the third annual Revolve Eco-Rally will be welcomed to City Hall by Boris Johnson.

The annual What Car? Green Awards will be take place in the evening, culminating with the announcement of Green Car of the Year.
