Guy's & St Thomas' Annual Public Meeting

Local people and patients are invited to attend Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust's Annual Public Meeting on Tuesday, September 12 in the Nevin Lecture Theatre at St Thomas' from 5.30pm - 7.30pm.

Refreshments will be served from 5.30pm in Central Hall where guests will have a chance to browse round a range of stands showcasing the Trust's work, including the Knowledge & Information Centre (KIC); The Modernisation Initiative; Black and Minority Ethnic Staff Network; and Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). The meeting will start at 6.00pm.

At the meeting there will be a review of the Trust's work over the last year and further details about its plans for 2006/07. Guests will also be able to hear presentations on the Trust's pioneering work in genetics, the growing UK obesity problem and Guy's and St Thomas' Charity. To end the event there will be a showing of a unique film all about BBC1's City Hospital programme, which is broadcast from the two hospitals.
