Siobhan Davies: Conversations on Making

This November choreographer Siobhan Davies invites a number of eminent artists to her RIBA award-winning studios, to talk with other artists about how they make their work.

Katie Mitchell OBE is an award winning theatre director and is an Associate Director of the National Theatre.

Paul Clark writes original scores for theatre. He is also co-artistic director of Clod Ensemble and has written scores for all of their productions to date.

These talks are a development from a number of conversations Siobhan Davies had in 2008 with eight artists from outside the world of dance, taking the word 'choreography' as the trigger.

For Conversations on Making, four of these artists were then asked by Siobhan to choose someone - again from outside their realm of work - to talk about what it is that fires up and sustains the making of their own work.
