The Undress for Uganda event is the ideal way to get a bargain new wardrobe for Christmas while raising cash for abandoned children.
Entry is £5 and each item costs £5 – all proceeds go directly to the Child's I Foundation.
Everyone is encouraged to bring 5-10 articles of clothing in good condition that can be sold for £5 each.
Child's I is a charity developed with leading experts in social care in the UK and Uganda to combat the growing problem of child abandonment.
"I spent four and a half months in Uganda working with abandoned children and it is amazing the difference even a few pounds organiser Lara Gordon, 27, from Putney.
"I got involved with Child's I because it is so different from other charities and they encourage their supporters to really get involved as well as raising cash."
Lucy Buck, founder of the Child's I Foundation, added: "It's a really exciting idea and we hope to get a lot of visitors to the event. This really is recycling at its best!"
