Spanish Fiesta at Emma Cons Gardens

A little bit of Spain comes to Waterloo as Meson Don Felipe hosts its own celebration of Spanish music, food and wine in Emma Cons Gardens as part of the Waterloo Quarter Food Festival.

Take advantage of a tempting array of Spanish food and as well as live music and Flamenco dancing.

Chefs from Meson Don Felipe will be cooking up an authentic feast: chorizo and other tasty treats served in bocadillos (small Spanish baguettes), paella and churros con chocolate (Spanish doughnuts dipped in chocolate).

They will be joined by a professional carver cutting tiny slithers of Teruel ham, an authentic dry-cured ham, to serve on toasted bread.

The drinks will be authentic too with Tio Pepe fino sherry, Spanish wines, sangria and beers on offer.

There'll be lively musical entertainment as Cuadra flamenco Don Felipe, an authentic Flamenco troop, present flamenco guitars and dance colourful sevillanas (an old Castilian folk dance) and bulerias (the traditional fast-paced dance).
