About this role

We are seeking a dynamic campaigns and policy officer who has a strong track record of campaigning and /or policy analysis, report writing, and lobbying on international development. By conducting research, policy development and campaigning, your work will underpin and contribute to our high impact and successful campaigns.

Person description

This post requires good knowledge of political economy, neoliberalism and poverty in a global context; strong writing skills; and an ability to develop a campaign strategy. You will need experience of researching and writing policy briefings; the ability to speak to a variety of public audiences; and the ability to network and build alliances with activists and other campaigners to forward our campaigns.

Global Justice Now is a social justice organisation which seeks to build movements, challenge the powerful and create a world where resources are controlled by the many, not by the few. Our cutting edge campaigns are demanding food sovereignty, fighting energy privatisation and making waves in the battle against the EU-US trade agreement (TTIP). This year has also been the year that we relaunched the organisation (we used to be WDM.)
