Cafe Manager and Volunteer Co-ordinator

St George's is setting up a free to use Community Café aimed particularly at isolated and vulnerable local residents. We aim to provide a warm, sociable environment, advice, and to sign-post to other services. The café manager will run the café, recruit and manage volunteers, undertake marketing and outreach and liaise with other local services.

We are looking for an outgoing, problem-solving individual with a strong customer service focus and an understanding of our community and its challenges and empathy towards those feeling isolated. Also the ability to motivate and manage others and experience of managing health and safety and retail or catering logistics. DBS clearance is required.
