Are you highly organised, unflappable, and a model of efficiency? Do you like a busy office with plenty of staff and parents to interact with, and are you comfortable in a nursery setting?

If so, then this could just be the job for you!

The Coin Street family & children’s centre offers families and children high quality and affordable programmes, providing integrated childcare and early years education. As the designated Children’s Centre in the area, it offers an Ofsted registered 84-place day nursery which caters for children from 3 months to 5 years of age.We are looking for a full-time administrator to carry out day-to-day duties in the nursery office, which is located right next to the nursery rooms on the first floor of the Coin Street neighbourhood centre in Stamford Street, London SE1. You will have proven administration skills to support our small yet busy Nursery team. As first point of contact for the team and for parents, you will be customer focused, enthusiastic, flexible and able to work on your own initiative.

Working hours are on a shift rota basis, either from 8:00am to 4:00pm, or from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

The successful person will possess the following:
•A good standard of education.
•Proven administration and customer service experience.
•Ability to work in a small team in a busy office.
•Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and able to learn other software required for the role (First Steps).
•Organised and positive approach to administrative tasks.
•Experience of working in a childcare setting is desirable, though not essential.
