Max Beckmann was an ambitious artist; in 1912 aged 22 he tackled a huge chaotic canvas of the 'Sinking of the Titanic' based on the news reports.

Supermarket for Waterloo at last

The store which opens this spring is opposite Waterloo Station, between Sandell Street and The Cut. The supermarket will be a 'Sainsbury's Local' brand with long opening hours.
