Caphe House's tables and chairs can stay in Tanner Street Park

Bermondsey Community Council has agreed to allow Caphe House in Bermondsey Street to continue placing chairs and tables across the road in Tanner Street Park.

Waterloo Bridge central arch closed to navigation for safety checks

The central arch of Waterloo Bridge has been shut to boats for urgent safety checks "due to material falling from the expansion joints," the Port of London Authority has announced.
