Bankside Boardwalk design competition launched
A design competition is now under way for the Bankside Boardwalk – a temporary structure to be built in Lavington Street.

A woodland in Rainham has been named in honour of James Braidwood, the pioneering chief fire officer killed whilst tackling a massive blaze in Tooley Street in 1861.
