Grand National

Any suggestions for where to watch the Grand National in a pub next weekend? SE1 always seems a bit short of good sports pubs. Busy is fine, atmosphere (and being able to see the screen) more important....

Horseshoe pub in melior st is good for watching racing and you can also hear the sound which I find quiet good as far as the National is concerned.
Its also next to William Hills which is handy or not!!

im not really an expert
and im not offering to take responsibility for bad choices
and i wouldnt encourage ppl to throw their money away gambling
but as the National is popular for "once a year" flutters
my tip to amateur punters for the National
try to choose a horse that has the proven staying power to finish the course
- i believe its about twice as long as any other UK horserace so the horses are really not used to running that distance
